West Papua Go To Boycott Indonesia Election 2009

Jayapura, [opeem] - The West Papua people are start to realizing that the Indonesia public election 2009 is nothing for West Papua people.

Indonesia illegal integration in 1969 thought PEPERA is another reason why the people of West Papua start to boycott Indonesia election in West Papua. They also realize that they are West Papua Indigenous people, not malay Indonesia. So, that they are not legal to voice the representative or any one in Indonesia Government possition. They need their democracy right in Free West Papua as a one nation.

In the Indonesian election 2009, at 9 April 2009 will held under Indonesia full military control. This moment will used by migrant from Malay (Indonesian) to dominate in legislative position, because until now, migrant legislative candidates are dominate in Papua Province and till the all regent in West Papua.

There should be held referendum to know what West Papua people want, Independent as their own nation or still joined under Indonesia.***

Thousand West Papua Rally Demand Referedum and Boycott

Jayapura, [opeem] -Thousands of West Papua people rally in demand referendum for West Papua. They also call for boycott Indonesian election in 9th April 2009 in West Papua. This action has urge the Indonesia government to demilitarize all solders in West Papua. They also urge the Indonesia Governor of Papua, Barnabas Suebu, SH to stop build up Indonesia militia of Merah Putih (white red militia).

The organizer of the rally from West Papua National Committee [KNPB], Victor F. Yeimo said that in past two month there were two KNPB’s activist tortured and intimidate by Indonesia militia of Merah Putih. He also added that Indonesia government have black record on human right abuses in West Papua.

Thousand of West Papua people has blocked by Indonesia police in front of Expo Waena, the place where Indonesia Military blocked IPWP supporter 16th October 2008 ago. However, they were continue under police full forces until the central city of Jayapura, West Papua. There was no activity around Jayapura.

Until the city of Jayapura, suddenly 3 of International Journalist, prohibited by Indonesia Security of Police. Until now, they don’t indentify. But, one camera stolen and broken by Police of Indonesia.

Victor, in front of the West Papua said that this action will bigger in next rally. He hopes all West Papua to get ready, and didn’t do anything, include student in every campus, West Papua employer. He call for all West Papua didn’t go to office. “one week in praying for the sake of West Papua will save the land to liberation”, said Victor.

This big rally joined by all West Papua movement. Every political representative organization have given the oration in demand self determination for West Papua.

Goliat Tabuni Give Hard Reaction on Nicholas Youwe's Project

Goliat Tabuni has given the political statement related Mr. Nicholas Youwe who have been facilitate by Indonesia Government. Goliat Tabuni said direct from headquarter of Tingginabut that Nicholas Youwe is nothing for West Papua struggle. He also said, Nicholas and his collage of Frans Albert Yoku and Nick Messet are not include on the struggle of West Papua. "We still fighting and we hand high command of OPM now", said Goliat via cellular.

Frans Albert Yoku and Nick Messed payed 90 Milliard rupiah from Jakarta to recognize the Nicholas Youwe's travel. That money input by Aburizal Bakrie, one of Indonesia Minister in Jakarta. Nicko remote by both of Frans and Nick to make wrong statement in support Special Autonomy in Papua and forgetting West Papua struggle.

Thousands Papua Student Demand to Open Room of Democracy

Jayapura, [opeem]- Thousands of West Papua student from each campus long march demand to Indonesia government open the room of democracy for West Papua. They stated that Indonesia government still isolated West Papua from International Media, and to close all West Papua people right of democracy. This was big demonstration. All Campus closed and the road was traffic jam. No economy activity a long the way in Abepura, West Papua.

Jayapura, [opeem] -Thousands West Papua People joined West Papua National Committee [KNPB] demonstration in demand Free West Papua in Jayapura, West Papua today. Indonesian police force blocked West Papua people in Expo Waena, but after negotiating with the local police chef, thousands of West Papua who came from every town and basic long march a long 11 kg. KNPB called the West Papua to having the time for praying and fasting for liberations of West Papua start from 26 Maret until 1 April 2009. All West Papua Fighting Organizations joined on this action Who has led by Victor F. Yeimo as the chairman of KNPB.

West Papuan Demand Buchtar To Be Released

Jayapura, 04 March 2008 [opeem] -West Papua activist and the Chair of National Committee for IPWP (International Parliamentarians for West Papua), Buchtar Tabuni's court today was demonstrated by West Papua People joined in Komite National Papua Barat (West Papua National Committee) in front of the Abepura Court of Jayapura.

They also demand the international intervention in the West Papua political problem.

The peace demonstrators blocked by thousands police solder and under police force they made the action. At the same time, the materiel from 43 law defenders of Buchtar didn't responsive by prosecutor. And the prosecutor stated to continue next week to hear the witness from Ramses Ohee, atc. Ramses Ohee is leader of Civil Militia of Merah Putih (red white of civil militia) who was not attend when Buchtar leading demonstration in 16 October 2008.
